Reveal Radiant Skin with Sunekos: The Natural Injectable for Skin Rejuvenation
Now available at Woodford Medical

At Woodford Medical, we’re dedicated to offering safe, clinically proven treatments that work in harmony with your skin. One of the most exciting new additions to our treatment offering is Sunekos - a regenerative injectable treatment designed to improve skin quality, hydration, and elasticity from within.

Understanding the Ageing Process

Facial ageing is a multifactorial process, and it affects more than just the surface of the skin. Over time, we experience:

  • Skin laxity, due to the breakdown of collagen and elastin
  • Volume loss, particularly in fat pads and soft tissues
  • Structural changes, including gradual resorption (loss) of facial bone, especially around the eye sockets, cheeks, and jawline
  • Reduced cellular function, which affects hydration, repair, and skin resilience

These changes occur simultaneously and often subtly, leading to a loss of definition, firmness, and radiance. Modern aesthetic medicine has evolved to address these changes not just cosmetically, but biologically — through regenerative treatments that support the body’s own ability to repair and restore.

What Is Regenerative Aesthetic Medicine?

Regenerative aesthetic medicine focuses on improving skin health and function at a cellular level. These treatments work by stimulating the skin’s natural ability to heal, rebuild, and rejuvenate itself.

This is achieved by introducing biologically active ingredients — such as amino acids, hyaluronic acid, polynucleotides, or growth factors — that help to rebuild and support essential structures in the skin, particularly the extracellular matrix (ECM).

The ECM acts as both the scaffolding that supports skin tissue and the communication network that allows skin cells to function effectively. With age, this matrix becomes fragmented, and regenerative treatments help restore it.

Where Does Sunekos Fit In?

Sunekos combines non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid with a patented selection of six amino acids, specifically chosen to support and enhance the extracellular matrix.  Sunekos helps create an optimal environment for skin cells to perform at their best. By supporting the structure and signalling within the ECM, Sunekos promotes:

  • Improved hydration
  • Increased elasticity
  • Restoration of skin smoothness and density

Subtle, natural-looking rejuvenation over time

A New Addition at Woodford Medical – With Excellent Results

Early patient feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Clients have reported brighter, firmer, and more hydrated skin - especially in areas that are typically difficult to treat, such as the jowls, under-eye and neck.

We chose to introduce Sunekos after a thorough clinical review, confident in its safety profile, scientific backing, and ability to deliver natural yet noticeable improvements.

What Can Sunekos Treat?

Sunekos is suitable for a wide range of aesthetic concerns, including:

  • Fine lines and early wrinkles.
  • Skin laxity and loss of firmness.
  • Dull, dehydrated, or crepey skin.
  • Dark circles and under-eye hollowing.
  • Neck, décolletage, and backs of hands.
  • Textural issues such as mild acne scarring.

What to Expect

A typical treatment course involves 3 sessions spaced approximately 14 days apart. The first session has two types of Sunekos to give maximal boost.  Each session is around 30minutes, with minimal discomfort, and most clients experience little to no downtime — only mild swelling or redness that resolves within 12-24 hours.  Mild bruising may take a 2-5 days to resolve.

Prices

1st session £350 Subsequent sessions £250, expect to want a top-up every 3-6 months
